BBQ Flavor
When it comes to BBQ, it's all about the choice meat you buy and how your cook it. There are many ways that you can grill meat. It can either be cooked over a charcoal pit,gas grill, or in a smoker. If you like your meat to have the flavor of a sauce to be throughout the meat, inside and outside. Then you would have to marinate it for at least an hour, so that it can absorb which ever sauce you have created for your dish.
If you buy quality meat though, you really don't need to marinate it. All you would have to do is season it before throwing it onto the grill, and let the meat do the rest. My favorite type of meat would have to the rib-eye steak, because it has a nice meat to fat ratio. When you cook it, the fat absorbs into the steak and really gives it that good flavor. The picture you see is a finely cooked piece of rib-eye. Now you can't tell me that doesn't make your mouth water just from looking at it. When you smoke meat for hours, it will come out so tender that you can cut it with a fork. There are different types of wood to smoke the food with, that really adds flavor to it.
Another great choice meat to grill for BBQing would be good ole' Texas brisket.
